Henry Molded Products Celebrates Earth Day
On Sunday April 19th, 2009 Henry Molded Products hosted a booth at the annual Berks County Earth Day celebration in Reading, PA. The new location at Reading's Riverfront Park served as a perfect spot on a beautiful spring day, for celebrating being good stewards to our earth.
Five hundred children took home spruce tree seedlings they planted at the booth in molded fiber pots, produced by HMP in Lebanon. 100% Recycled Paper, is used to produce all the products manufactured by HMP, which includes floral/ nursery containers and packaging materials. Fairview Evergreen in Fairview, PA generously donated the seedlings for this event.
Pack Expo in Las Vegas draws exhibitors from Pennsylvania and over 22,000 visitors from around the globe

The 2007 Pack Expo is coming to Las Vegas Nevada and Henry Molded Inc. will be there. With 1,200 exhibitors, the Pack Expo will focus on the latest developments in packing technology. The show will feature advances in machinery, materials, packages and containers, and components. The Pack Expo, held bi-annually on odd numbered years, will be the largest packaging event in 2007.
Headquartered in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with a second manufacturing plant in South Carolina, and warehouse and distribution facilities across the United States, Henry Molded Products has become the design, development and manufacturing leader in full line molded pulp packaging products.
Henry Molded will bring sustainability to the Pack Expo, a huge factor in packaging material. All of Henry Moldeds’ products are made from a 100% recycled fiber that naturally meets the needs of both the recycling industry and the shipping and trucking industry.
Many of these molded fiber products will be on display at the expo, including custom wheel packs and STAKKERS. These roll handling cradles are made with blended cellulose fibers that form in to heavy sections giving STAKKERS surprising durability and sustainability. These amazing products helped Henry Molded Products receive the environmental award for Pallets from the American Feed Industry Association last year.

Henry Molded Products Improves STAKKERS
Rework of raw materials creates major upgrade in sustainable roll cradle packaging
Henry Molded Products Inc. has improved STAKKERS, its highly innovative roll stacking product. STAKKERS are a simple biodegradable/recyclable roll packaging system. STAKKERS are made as an efficient double section with a hinge in the center for easy folding and no wasted material. One component makes the top, bottom, and center section for easy roll packaging.
STAKKERS are made from 100% natural recycled fiber that allows flexibility and durability. The improvements recently made to this product start with these raw materials. A higher quality paper is now being used in the making of STAKKERS which leads to a nicer appearance as well as a stronger product.
Because of a strong customer demand, at least six new sizes of STAKKERS have been added to the product line over the past 18 months. Since molded pulp fiber adapts to the shape it contains, when a roll diameter varies from the normal size, the fiber section will conform to the roll diameter. This pliability makes the STAKKER easy to use with slight variations in roll diameters.
Henry Molded Products Inc. is also reworking the tooling to increase the amount of cradles customers will get per palette. Better nest ability will help customers decrease shipping costs. The company is also working on testing crushability of the STAKKER products to facilitate improvements in durability.
